Ranks & Permissions
Everyone starts as Default and can be promoted by staff.
Default (everyone)
- Sit, lay down, and pose with
/sitand friends (GSit) - Vein mining and instant tree felling as quality-of-life mining/wood tools
- Proximity voice chat, plus music streaming into voice chat with
/music - Change your own size with
/myscale(tiny / small / normal / tall / large) - Teleport requests (
/tpaand friends) - Pick up and place villagers
- Report a player to staff with
/report, works even if they’re offline - Suggest a feature, plugin, or change with
/suggest, it doesn’t need to exist yet - Reset your own nickname back to your real name with
/nick reset, no permission needed - Look up the real username behind a nickname with
/whois <nickname> - Claim a storage block (or an item frame, painting, or armor stand) by right-clicking it with a name tag, and add other players to it through the claim GUI, hoppers can’t move items in or out of a claim unless you turn that on yourself
- Turn a claim into a mailbox so other players can leave you signed letters, and get alerted when mail arrives
- Show the item in your hand in chat with
[item], and render Discord-style:shortcode:emoji inline - Set, teleport to, and remove named homes with
/sethome,/home, and/delhome - Teleport to spawn with
/spawn, or back to your last location (or death point) with/back - Check your own or anyone else’s total playtime with
/playtime, or see the server leaderboard - Marked AFK automatically after 5 minutes idle, or manually with
/afk - Send a message to just your voice chat group with
@, or toggle it on for every message with/chat group toggle
Builder
Everything in Default, plus:
- World building tools (WorldEdit/FastAsyncWorldEdit, region protection via WorldGuard)
- NPC and dialogue authoring (Typewriter)
- Map art and lore boards (ImageFrame)
- Gamemode switching (
/gmc,/gms,/gma,/gmsp)
Lore Writer
A separate rank from Builder, not a tier above or below it, granted to people working on the server’s story rather than its terrain:
- NPC and dialogue authoring (Typewriter)
- Map art and lore boards (ImageFrame)
- Gamemode switching (
/gmc,/gms,/gma,/gmsp) - Set your own nickname with
/nick <nickname>, including what shows above your head, not just chat and tab - Set another player’s nickname with
/nick <player> <nickname>, something Builder doesn’t have
Admin
Everything in Builder, plus everything Lore Writer has (nicknaming yourself and others, granted directly rather than through Lore Writer, since Builder and Lore Writer are separate tracks), plus:
- Full permissions management
- Staff vanish and inventory inspection tools
- Anti-grief and farmland protection controls
- Chunk pregeneration tools
- Block and container history, with lookup and rollback (CoreProtect)
- Toggle inspector mode with
/claim inspect, so right-clicking any claim opens its management GUI instead of the block/entity itself - Open and manage anyone’s claimed storage blocks,
/claim wipeand/claim access - Review group-chat conversations with
/chat group logs
