Quality of Life
Everything below is available to the Default rank, no setup or asking required.
Sitting, laying, and posing
GSit lets you sit, lay down, crawl, or spin in place, purely cosmetic.
Vein mining and instant tree felling
VeinMiner mines a whole connected ore vein in one break. TimberZ fells an entire tree from a single hit at the base. Both can be toggled on or off.
Picking up villagers
ClickVillagers lets you pick up a villager and place it somewhere else, useful for organizing trading halls without fragile minecart tricks.
Player shops
/shop sets up a trading shop with a GUI: put whatever you’re offering
on one side and whatever you want for it on the other. No server economy,
no invented currency, just items for items, so diamonds work well as a
standard if you want one.
Resizing yourself
/myscale tiny, small, reset, tall, or large changes your
character’s scale. Purely cosmetic and reversible any time.
Teleport requests
SimpleTPA backs /tpa, /tpaccept, /tpdeny, and /tpacancel for
player-to-player teleport requests.
Checking your own ping and server performance
TabTPS lets you check your connection and the server’s tick rate yourself,
no need to ask staff. /tabtps toggle tab shows or hides that info in
your tab list (tick rate, your ping) if you’d rather have it up
permanently instead of checking on demand.
Reporting a player
/report <player> <reason> sends a report straight to staff, including
where and when it happened. Works even if the reported player isn’t
online at the time.
Suggesting something
/suggest <suggestion> sends an idea straight to staff on Discord. It
doesn’t have to be about something that already exists, new plugins,
new features, or changes to how something currently works are all fair
game.
Claiming storage
Right-click a chest, barrel, furnace, shulker box, sign, and most other storage or interactive blocks (as well as item frames, glow item frames, paintings, and armor stands) while holding a name tag to claim it. This opens a management GUI where you can add other players so they can use it too, hoppers can’t move items in or out of a claim unless you explicitly allow it.
Item and emoji display in chat
Type [item] anywhere in a chat message to show whatever’s currently in
your main hand, other players can hover over it to see the full tooltip,
name, enchantments, everything. Type a Discord-style shortcode like
:fire: or :pog: and it renders as a small image inline instead of
plain text. Emoji rendering needs the server’s resource pack, which
you’ll be prompted to download the first time you join, declining it just
means shortcodes show as plain text instead of images, nothing else
breaks.
Mailboxes
Any claimed chest (or claimed entity, like an item frame) can be turned into a mailbox from its claim management GUI, toggle “Mailbox” on. Once it’s on, anyone who right-clicks it gets handed a book to write a letter in, right-click the book to open it, write your message, and sign it to send. You (and anyone you’ve added to the claim) can then open the mailbox to read and take out what’s inside, only take-out is allowed once it’s a mailbox, not put-in. You get a chat alert the moment new mail arrives if you’re online, or when you next join if you weren’t. One mailbox per player, and it has to be completely empty before you can toggle it back into a regular claim.
Nicknames
/nick reset clears your own nickname back to your real name, no
permission needed. Setting one in the first place needs a bit more
trust in you, see Ranks & Permissions for who can.
/whois <nickname> works the other way around, look up who’s really
behind a nickname you’ve seen in chat or above someone’s head.
Homes
/sethome [name] sets a home at your current location, /home [name]
teleports back to it, and /delhome [name] removes one. Leave the name
off and it defaults to a home just called “home”, so this works exactly
like a single-home command if that’s all you need.
Spawn and back
/spawn teleports you to spawn from anywhere. /back returns you to
wherever you were right before your last teleport, or to where you died
if that happened more recently.
Checking playtime
/playtime shows your own total time played, /playtime <player> shows
anyone else’s (even if they’re offline right now), and /playtime leaderboard ranks the whole server.
AFK status
Step away for 5 minutes without moving, chatting, or interacting with
anything and you’re automatically marked AFK, shown as a tag on your
name in chat, the tab list, and above your head. /afk toggles it
manually too, either direction. Any real activity clears it right away.
Exploring
The overworld has extra structures scattered through it beyond the vanilla set, worth wandering further out to find. Nothing about the seed itself has changed.
Nether portal safety
Nether portals keep themselves within the server’s actual playable bounds automatically. However far out you build one, you won’t end up ported into unloaded, ungenerated terrain on the other side. Nothing you need to set up, it just works in the background.
Full command syntax lives on Commands.
